This tutorial walks you through creating a wearable flower pot outfit using a plastic tub, pink tape, and artificial blooms. Key steps include modifying the container for leg movement, constructing a tape harness, reinforcing the handles, decorating the interior with flowers while leaving an arm opening, and adding a final floral touch to a headband.
You'll need
Directions
- Start with a spacious, lightweight plastic container. Use scissors to carefully cut away the bottom section, creating an opening wide enough for your legs to pass through comfortably while walking.
- Measure and slice four lengthy pieces of pink adhesive tape. Press the adhesive sides of two pairs together to create double-thick straps. Secure one end of each strap to the interior rim of the container using additional tape, forming a harness system.
- Apply hot glue generously around the base of the container's handles to reinforce their attachment and prevent them from detaching during wear.
- Take handfuls of artificial blooms and use hot glue to affix them to the inner walls of the container. Cover the entire surface completely, but carefully leave a narrow gap near the top edge to allow your arms to move freely.
- Attach a single decorative bloom to your headband using hot glue to complete the floral look.
