Bat Straw Rocket Activity and Recording Sheet

This printable STEM activity teaches kids about lift and thrust as they build a straw rocket that launches a paper bat. Includes a recording sheet for tracking flight distances and observations.
You'll need
Directions
- Cut off a piece of the large straw about 2 and a half inches long. Tape one end of the straw closed.
- Cut out the bat picture.
- Glue or tape the bat picture to the section of the large straw. The feet of the bat should be facing the taped end of the straw.
- Place the bat picture on the straw onto the smaller straw.
