Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at moveplaygo.com.
Download and print four pages of Halloween memory cards featuring 24 pairs. After coloring and cutting, laminate them for long-lasting fun. Then flip, match, and collect pairs—the player with the most matches wins.
Directions
- Begin by printing out the memory cards which you'll find on pages two through five. These four sheets contain a total of twenty-four matching pairs.
- Next, cut along the lines to separate the cards and then color them however you like. Coloring is a fantastic way for small fingers to practice dexterity. Using twistable colored pencils is especially convenient since you never need a sharpener.
- For extra durability, consider laminating the cards. It's not required, but I highly suggest it—my own simple laminator works wonderfully.
- Shuffle the cards thoroughly.
- Arrange them in rows with the blank sides facing up.
- The first player turns over any two cards. If the pictures match, that player removes the pair and keeps it. If they don't match, the player flips both cards back over.
- Keep taking turns until every pair has been claimed.
- When all cards are gone, the person with the most pairs wins.
