- Start by tracing or drawing a crescent moon outline onto your foam board. Use a utility knife to carefully cut along the lines until you have your base shape ready.
- Measure and snip your metallic fringe strands into 8-inch lengths. Apply a strip of thin duct tape or masking tape across the center of each piece, folding the tape over to secure it. Flip the tape over and press the fringe firmly onto the foam board, beginning at the bottom edge and moving upward toward the top curve. Once the entire surface is covered, use your knife to trim any overhanging fringe so it matches the moon's silhouette. Finally, attach the finished piece to your wall using a thumbtack or removable mounting tape.
