You'll need
Directions
- Start by opening your front door. Drape the butcher paper over the top, leaving a 1-inch lip that you tape to the inside of the door. Shut the door, then let the paper roll down to the bottom. With a utility knife, carefully cut around any door hardware. Reopen the door, trim the butcher paper so it wraps around the bottom edge, and secure it with another 1-inch tape seam on the inside.
- Before writing on the paper, test your marker on a scrap piece of butcher paper (not on the door) to check that the ink doesn't soak through. Then, using the marker, inscribe your chosen autumn phrase across the butcher paper.
- Use double-sided tape to fix the faux fall leaves onto the butcher paper in your desired arrangement.
