These Dracula's Dentures are made from chocolate chip cookies cut in half, frosted with red-tinted vanilla icing, and lined with marshmallow teeth. Almond slivers serve as fangs. The result is a spooky, edible treat that's perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients
Directions
- Bake the cookies according to the package directions or your own recipe. Let them cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool, cut each cookie in half to make 48 half-cookies.
- Spread red-tinted vanilla frosting on the flat side of each cookie half. On 24 of the halves, arrange 6 miniature marshmallows along the curved edge to look like teeth. For extra stability, you can place a seventh marshmallow behind the row of teeth. Top each with another frosted half, positioning it slightly behind the marshmallows so the teeth are visible. Finally, insert two slivered almonds between the marshmallows as fangs; if they don't stick, dip the tips in frosting first.
