Directions
- Take a plain paper plate to serve as the witch's face. With a black marker or crayon, sketch a mouth—a pointy nose and a smirk give a classic look. Glue on googly eyes for a spooky but playful expression.
- Form the witch's hat by cutting a large triangle from black or green construction paper. Add an orange paper strip as a band across the hat. Attach a pompom to the tip for a quirky touch. Then glue or tape the hat to the top of the plate, tilting it slightly for a mischievous look.
- Create the witch's hair by cutting several strips from colorful construction paper (like red, green, pink, purple). Curl each strip by wrapping it around a pencil, then glue them along both sides of the plate so they stick out from under the hat, giving a wild, fun hairstyle.
- Add extra character with details like freckles, warts, or a small scar on the face. Spruce it up with other spooky touches—maybe a tiny paper spider dangling from the hat or a broomstick cut from construction paper.
- Once complete, display your Halloween witch by hanging it on a wall or sticking it to a window for a spooky decoration.
