These easy Ghosts and Goblins Brownies start with a simple box mix, baked until perfectly fudgy. You'll decorate them with melted white chocolate tinted in black, orange, and green, then paint playful faces and stick on candy eyes for a spooky- cute treat that's ready in no time.

Ingredients

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking pan
  • Electric mixer
  • Small bowls
  • Paintbrush or toothpick

Directions

  1. Set the oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with grease.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the brownie mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat the mixture for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean. Allow the brownies to cool fully.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips following the instructions on the package.
  6. Divide the melted chocolate equally among three small bowls. Stir black food coloring gel into one bowl, orange into another, and green into the third, mixing until you reach the desired shade.
  7. Use a small paintbrush or toothpick to paint ghost and goblin faces onto the cooled brownies with the colored chocolate.
  8. Attach candy eyes to the faces for added detail. Let the chocolate harden before cutting and serving.
