Halloween Brownie Truffles
No-bake Halloween brownie truffles: rich chocolate bites rolled in festive sprinkles for a spooky-sweet treat.
Our own summary of the original by Krista — the full post and photos live at werefarfromnormal.com.
These easy Halloween brownie truffles start with a boxed mix that's microwaved to a safe temperature, then combined with syrups and water to form a fudge-like dough. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and coat them in Halloween sprinkles before a final chill in the fridge. Serve cold for a fun, no-bake dessert that's perfect for parties or ghoulish gatherings.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pour the dry brownie mix into a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave it in 30-second bursts, stirring after each, until it reaches 160°F (about 1 ½ minutes total).
- Add the corn syrup, chocolate syrup, and water to the heated mix. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour Halloween sprinkles into a shallow dish so they're ready for coating.
- Scoop the brownie mixture by level tablespoons and roll each portion into a ball. Keep a damp paper towel handy to moisten your hands as needed—this prevents sticking.
- Immediately roll each ball in the sprinkles, pressing gently so they stick. Place the finished truffles on a plate or baking sheet.
- Continue rolling and coating until all the brownie mixture is used up.
- Refrigerate the truffles for at least 1 hour before serving so they firm up.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy them chilled.
