Ingredients
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, microwave the butter and chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir, then microwave another 30 seconds. Keep stirring until the butter is completely melted and smooth.
- In a smaller bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-chocolate mixture, and mix until fully incorporated.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture by hand, mixing just until no streaks of flour remain.
- Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the egg and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add orange food coloring and mix until you achieve a bright orange color.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the brownie batter. Sprinkle the broken Oreo cookies and Halloween M&M Goul Mix on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes before slicing.
