This festive board combines savory cheeses and cured meats with dark fruits and chocolates, finished with a 'bleeding' goat cheese trick and spooky decorations for a fun, edible Halloween display.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place the sliced Grand Cru, sliced Jalapeño Havarti, and the whole log of plain chèvre into separate areas on your dark wooden or black serving platter.
- Nestle the Calabrese salame (or your chosen prosciutto, capocollo, or a mix) beside the cheese piles. Then, scatter the blackberries, pomegranate arils, Sweet Sapphire grapes, and persimmons into the empty spaces. Fill any remaining gaps with the dark chocolate squares, dried cherries, and Fig & Olive crisps.
- Dab a small amount of raspberry jam onto the middle of the goat cheese log to create a 'bleeding' effect. Gently press the tip of a small, sharp knife into the center of the jam to enhance the dripping look.
- Finish the display by scattering plastic spiders and googly eyes across the board, and drape artificial spider webs along the edges.
