Whip up a batch of chocolate pudding, fold in whipped cream, and chill. Top with crushed Oreo 'dirt' and creepy candies like worms and eyeballs for a festive dessert that's perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. If using heavy cream, beat it with a hand or stand mixer on medium-high until medium-stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside. (Skip if using Cool Whip.)
  2. In the same bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until combined. Let sit for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream (or Cool Whip) into the pudding. Spoon or pipe the mixture into serving cups, leaving room at the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Meanwhile, crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin. Prepare any candy decorations.
  5. Just before serving, sprinkle a generous layer of cookie crumbs over each pudding cup. Decorate with candy worms, eyeballs, tombstone-shaped candy bars, etc. To attach candy eyes or chips to peanut butter cups, use a dab of frosting or brush with corn syrup.
