The list
-
01
Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure
Much-beloved HHN show, around 16 of 17 years. Variety show about current-ish pop culture, not Halloween-themed. Opens with adult language. Includes digs at NBC/Universal: Spider-Man 3, Dateline NBC, Back to the Future ride closure. Also mocks a pirate-based attraction down the interstate; no High School Musical jokes in the version seen. Tip: watch sign-language interpreters at start of 'We Are the Champions.' Cast works hard and looks fun.

02
The Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute
Cast performs in lingerie and high heels. Requires working knowledge of the movie for maximum enjoyment. Big screen above stage shows film scenes. Shorter than feature film; no Meat Loaf. Crowd participation was light—only a few shouted at actors, about a half-dozen attempted Time Warp then sat down. Author suggests asking yourself how much you really love Rocky Horror.
