These Ding Dong Bats are a fun and budget-friendly Halloween treat. Simply add Oreo wings, candy eyes, and icing fangs to transform ordinary snack cakes into adorable bat creatures.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Remove all Ding Dongs from their wrappers and set them aside.
  2. Twist Oreo cookies apart to separate the halves, then scrape off the cream filling from each half.
  3. With a sharp knife, carefully cut each Oreo half into two equal pieces.
  4. Using the sharp knife, make a small slit on one side of a Ding Dong. Gently insert one Oreo half into the slit to form a wing. Repeat on the opposite side for the second wing.
  5. Repeat step 4 for all remaining Ding Dongs.
  6. Use the white cookie icing to pipe two small dots on each Ding Dong where the eyes will go. Press a candy eyeball sprinkle onto each dot.
  7. Repeat step 6 for all Ding Dongs.
  8. With the cookie icing, pipe two small triangles side by side on each Ding Dong to create fangs.
