Make a Halloween Charcuterie Board That's Almost Too Cute to Eat
PHOTO · TASTEOFHOME.COM

This Halloween charcuterie board is arranged to look like a jack-o'-lantern using black licorice for eyes and smile, an Oreo nose, and colorful candies for filling. It combines sweet and savory treats like popcorn balls, cheese balls, and gummy candies, all balanced on a platter for a festive presentation.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Form two triangular shapes and a smile using black licorice candies. Insert a gumball eyeball into the center of each triangle, then place an Oreo cookie where the nose belongs.
  2. Create a curving vertical line from top to bottom on the right side of the board with purple-wrapped Hershey's Kisses. To the right of that, add the peanut butter popcorn balls, then fill the remaining space between the popcorn and board edge with Mellocreme pumpkins.
  3. Frame the black licorice smile by lining cheddar cheese balls along the top edge and peach gummy rings along the bottom edge.
  4. Fill the area between the eyes and mouth with candy corn, and use orange M&Ms to occupy the space directly between the two eyes.
  5. To create visual balance, place pumpkin-shaped Peeps along the bottom of the left side of the board.
  6. In the upper left corner, arrange Cheez-Its, gummy worms, and gummy vampire teeth.
  7. Lay out Halloween-themed napkins and plates, prepare a pitcher of your chosen beverage, and present everything for serving.
