Directions
- Lay a sheet of aluminum foil flat on your work surface. To protect the area from potential mess, consider spreading a plastic tablecloth or newspaper underneath.
- Using washable markers, have your child color the foil however they like—patterns or random scribbles are fine. Make sure the colored area is large enough to cover your Halloween design.
- Help your child mist the colored foil with water from a spray bottle. The moisture will cause the marker ink to blend, producing a watercolor effect when transferred.
- Place your Halloween template onto the foil with the design side facing the colored surface. Gently press down to ensure every part of the paper touches the wet ink.
- Slowly peel the cardstock away from the foil. You'll see the vibrant colors have transferred onto your Halloween artwork, creating a spooky and beautiful craft.
