Directions

  1. Collect all the necessary items for this project, including the Silhouette Cameo 3, roll-feeder, royal blue glossy vinyl, white matte vinyl, Glad large clear trash bags (30 gallon), onesie, sunnies, masking or painter's tape, scissors, hot glue gun, paint stirrers, and white cardstock.
  2. Fit the trash bag onto a person to mark the armholes and the bottom width. Cut these openings, then make small slits along the side seams to thread the tie-string through.
  3. Design your ICE graphics digitally. Use the craft-cutter to slice blue vinyl letters and white vinyl snow-caps and snowflakes, or print the designs on paper as an alternative.
  4. Set up the cutting machine with the roll-feeder. Run a test-cut to ensure the settings are correct before proceeding.
  5. Cut the vinyl pieces using the machine.
  6. Peel the vinyl pieces by hand and stick the ICE letters, snow-caps, and snowflakes onto the clear trash bags.
  7. Bundle 8-10 clear trash bags together and place them inside the main outer bag to create the faux ice effect. Cinch the bottom tightly.
  8. Cut vinyl text for signs and attach them to paint-stirrers. Apply vinyl text to the onesie to complete the costume accessories.
