This indoor scavenger hunt uses free printable clues and riddles to hide treats around the house. You can customize the number of hiding spots and reuse clues for general locations. Kids either receive one clue at a time or pick from a Halloween-themed container to start the fun.
Directions
- Start by downloading the free Halloween scavenger hunt clue set, which includes riddles. Next, choose the number of hiding spots you'll use—whether for kids, teens, or even a partner who loves Halloween.
- Decide on the treats you'll conceal. The set has 10 printable clues and riddles, but you can reuse some because they point to general hiding places.
- While the kids aren't looking, place the treats and their matching riddles in the spots indicated on your printed clue sheet.
- To start the game, either give them one clue and let them hunt for each treat, or put all the clues inside a plastic pumpkin, witch's hat, or other Halloween container and have them pick one at a time before searching.
