Transform plain graham crackers into Halloween band-aid cookies using chilled icing and red gel. After icing squares set, add realistic gel blobs, then serve with a real band-aid box for a fun, gory touch. These treats are quick to make and perfect for parties.
Ingredients
Directions
- Separate each graham cracker sheet into four equal pieces. For clean breaks, use a sharp knife to cut along the perforation lines.
- Refrigerate the Wilton Cookie Icing for a bit so it's thicker and easier to control. On each cracker piece, pipe a square outline in the center, then fill it in completely.
- Let the icing set completely—this typically takes about 60 minutes. You'll know it's ready when it's firm to the touch.
- Squeeze a small blob of red cake decorating gel onto each iced square to mimic the bandage pad. Vary the size and position for a more realistic look, then use a toothpick to gently spread the gel.
- Arrange the finished cookies on a serving plate and place an actual band-aid box nearby for a playful presentation. Enjoy your creepy-cute treats!
