Directions
- Measure and cut four 10-inch strips from crepe paper streamers. Lay one strip flat, place a piece of double-sided tape in the center on top. Position a second strip across the first to form an X shape, pressing the centers together. Add the third and fourth strips similarly, creating a star or circle pattern with all centers stuck together.
- Use double-sided tape to attach a white paper cupcake liner to the center of the crepe paper arrangement, ensuring all pieces are secured at the middle.
- Fill the cupcake liner with small treats. To shape the pumpkin, take two opposite streamer ends and bring them together over the center above the liner. Hold them there, then repeat with the remaining streamers, forming a loose ball-like shape.
- With one hand, twist the crepe paper ends together to close the top, enclosing the treats inside the liner. Use your other hand to gently squeeze and shape the pumpkin body.
- Cut a 10-inch piece of green floral tape.
- Starting at the base of the twisted stem, wrap the floral tape around several times in the same direction as the twist. Pull the tape gently as you twist to make it stick and tighten the stem. Once the base is secure, spiral the tape upward to cover all orange streamers.
- To finish, wrap the stem around a pencil to create a curl.
