From the original

The Mystery Inc. gang travels to the Rocky Harbor Inn after Fred's uncle, celebrity chef Bobby Flay, invites them to stay. Fred discovers his uncle is world-famous, and the group tours a high-tech cooking arena while meeting chefs Giada De Laurentiis and Marcus Samuelsson and their cats. Groundskeeper Jeremiah Noseworthy mutters about a red ghost; Bobby explains that ancestor Edward Flay vanished in 1780 after crying out about a Red Ghost, and sightings have kept the inn shuttered. On television, Jeremiah calls Edward a traitor. Businessman Bradley Bass offers to buy the inn; historian Henry Metcalf provides parchment papers that once wrapped takeout during the Revolutionary War. During a live show the animatronics go berserk, driven off by the Red Ghost, which Velma repels with a fire extinguisher. Invisible ink reveals troop-movement details, suggesting Edward was a spy; Scooby sees the ghost steal the papers, and the gang follows dropped pages. A court order threatens closure, so the gang recreates the show and traps the ghost. It is unmasked as Bradley Bass, then revealed to be Metcalf in disguise - Bass being his false identity. Metcalf feared Edward's personal papers would ruin the hero legend, not knowing the parchment he handed over WAS those papers. Velma proves Edward spied for George Washington's Continental Army. At the end, Jeremiah stays with the gang and departs, Edward's cry is revealed as 'redcoats', and Skip Taylor is found trying to sleep.
