These skull cookies are made by molding white chocolate around an Oreo cookie, then adding bittersweet chocolate eyes and nose. They're easy to make with a skull-shaped mold and require only a few simple ingredients. Perfect for a chillingly delicious Halloween dessert.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips on high power, stirring every 30 seconds, until fully melted and smooth, about 1 minute.
  2. Drop 1 tablespoon of the melted white chocolate into each of the 6 skull-shaped cavities in a mold. Gently tap the mold on the counter to release any air bubbles. Press 1 cookie into each cavity, pushing down gently so the chocolate rises up around the sides. Spoon another 1 tablespoon of white chocolate over each cookie, then use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly and cover the cookie completely. Place the mold in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  3. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the bittersweet chocolate chips on high power, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth, about 30 seconds. Carefully remove the skulls from the mold and arrange them face-up on a work surface.
  4. Dip the tip of a wooden pick into the melted bittersweet chocolate so it's well coated, then use it to drop small dots of chocolate into the eye and nose cavities of each skull. Let the skulls sit at room temperature until the chocolate is firm, about 10 minutes.
