Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at helloyummy.co.
Spider pancakes start with your favorite pancakes, whether homemade, from a mix, or frozen. A simple white icing made from powdered sugar and water is piped into a web design, then topped with blackberries and candy googly eyes for a spooky yet delicious morning meal.
Ingredients
Directions
- Arrange pancakes on a serving plate.
- For the white icing, combine a couple tablespoons of powdered sugar with a few teaspoons of water, adjusting to reach a drizzly consistency. Optionally, stir in a splash of vanilla extract for added flavor.
- Transfer the icing to a small sandwich bag, snip off a tiny corner, and pipe a spiderweb pattern onto the pancakes.
- Place blackberries on top of the web, then attach candy googly eyes to the blackberries using a small dab of icing as glue.
