This keto-friendly Halloween pizza uses a grain-free crust, topped with marinara, mozzarella ghosts cut with cookie cutters, and olive spiders. Bake the crust with Parmesan first, then add toppings and bake again for a crisp, festive result.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Get your keto pizza crust and marinara sauce ready. For a large pizza, split your tortilla dough into three equal portions—each makes one large pizza. The most reliable method is to roll the dough out on a silicone mat using a nonstick silicone rolling pin. Ideally, use that same mat for both rolling and baking so you don't have to move the delicate crust. Alternatively, place a piece of dough between two sheets of baking paper and roll it very thin. Then, use your fingers to turn the edges inward, forming a rim to hold the toppings.
  2. Heat your oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Right before baking, dust the crust with finely grated Parmesan cheese. This seals the crust and keeps it firm even after you add the sauce. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, then take it out and spread the marinara sauce evenly over the surface, leaving the rim untouched.
  3. While the crust is in the oven, craft the cheese ghosts and olive spiders. Use Halloween-themed cookie cutters to stamp out ghost shapes from mozzarella slices. For the spiders, halve the olives crosswise to create body pieces, then slice thin strips for the legs.
  4. After the crust has baked and you've added the marinara, arrange the cheese ghosts on top. Give each ghost two tiny olive pieces for eyes. Build the olive spiders by placing the leg strips first, then setting the body halves over them. Return the pizza to the oven for about 5 minutes.
  5. Don't throw away the leftover cheese cutout scraps—save them for another pizza or recipe. Once the pizza is fully baked, remove it from the oven. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Happy Halloween!
