This project turns a simple pumpkin into a living centerpiece. You'll apply a layer of moss with spray glue, then attach succulent clippings with hot glue. Finish with optional faux floral accents for extra texture.
You'll need
Directions
- Begin by cleaning your pumpkin with a dry cloth to remove any dirt. Choose a pumpkin without deep scratches or gouges so it stays fresh longer.
- Spray a light, even layer of spray glue onto the top of the pumpkin where you want to place the succulent decorations.
- Press a thin layer of dried moss onto the glue. Stretch the moss so it's evenly spread, creating a soft bed for the succulents.
- Take a succulent clipping and apply hot glue to its base, then press it onto the moss-covered area. Start with a larger piece as an anchor, then fill in with smaller clippings.
- If desired, add a few accents from faux floral filler to complete the arrangement.
