Transform basic clothing and craft supplies into a charming chicken costume for Halloween. By layering oversized onesies, adding feather boas, and repurposing gloves and pants, you can easily assemble a unique and memorable outfit without needing advanced sewing skills.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Layer the oversized long-sleeved onesies on top of each other and stitch the edges together. Fill the gap between the two layers with stuffing until the body looks round and full.
  2. Attach the two six-foot white feather boas around the entire perimeter of the stuffed body to create a fluffy outer layer.
  3. Sew the yellow rubber cleaning gloves directly onto the yellow pants to form the chicken's legs and feet.
  4. Construct the headwear by cutting pieces from an old white t-shirt and a few felt scraps, then attach black buttons to complete the look.
