Turn ordinary cookies into spooky vampire treats with just a few simple ingredients.
Our own summary of the original by Lauren Miyashiro — the full post and photos live at delish.com.
These vampire cookies start with baked chocolate chip cookie halves, frosted with red-tinted vanilla icing. Mini marshmallows form the teeth, and slivered almonds become fangs for a fun Halloween snack.

Directions
- Heat the oven to 350°F. Cover two large baking sheets with parchment. Shape the cookie dough into 1.5-inch balls and arrange them on the sheets. Bake until they turn golden, roughly 12 minutes. Allow them to cool fully, then slice each cookie in half.
- Mix a few drops of red food coloring into the vanilla frosting until the color is even. Apply a thin coat of this red frosting onto the cut side of each cookie half.
- On half of the cookie halves, place mini marshmallows around the curved edge. Top each with another cookie half (frosting side down). Insert a slivered almond into each side of the sandwich to resemble fangs.
