These vegan truffles mimic tiny tombstones with a dark chocolate and cookie base, shaped and decorated with white chocolate. They are simple to make and perfect for Halloween parties. Keep them chilled until serving.
Ingredients
Equipment
- Microwave-safe bowl
- Parchment paper
- Toothpick
Directions
- Mix the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and melted.
- Stir in the crushed vegan cookies and powdered sugar. Mix thoroughly until a thick dough forms.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Remove from the fridge. Scoop small portions, roll into balls, then shape into small gravestones using your hands or a mold.
- Place the shaped truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 15 minutes to set.
- Melt the white chocolate melts according to package instructions. Use a toothpick or small brush to draw details on the gravestones.
- Let the decorations set completely before serving or storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
