This tutorial guides you through creating a glam dark fairy look for Halloween. From glowing white-and-pink contacts to a pale foundation and dramatic purple eyes, each step builds a supernatural, wicked aesthetic. Perfect for a hauntingly beautiful costume.

Directions

  1. Insert your special-effect contacts (white with pink edges to give a glowing look) before starting any makeup. Always apply contacts before foundation or eye products.
  2. Start with clean, moisturized, and primed skin. Mix white foundation with foundation primer to create a full-coverage base that is several shades lighter than your natural skin tone. Apply this mixture to your face, neck, and any other visible skin, blending well. Set everything with white face powder for a supernatural, gothic finish.
  3. Fill in your eyebrows with a very dark shade—match them to your hair or use dark brown or black. Use a pencil liner for precise, sharp definition to give a wicked shape. On one cheek, add a beauty mark using brown liquid liner.
  4. Define the hollows of your cheeks by contouring with a mix of purple and brown eyeshadows. Then soften the contour by applying a touch of mauve blush.
  5. Prime your eyelids with eye primer for maximum color payoff. Using a white pencil liner, draw a line directly under your brow bone and blend it smooth with your finger. Set this with white eyeshadow to define the brow and create a blending base. Apply dark purple eyeshadow at the base of your eyelid, then gradually blend upward with light purple eyeshadow, extending all the way to the brow bone. Continue the dark purple shadow around the entire eye.
