This vampire makeup tutorial uses white, lilac, black, and burgundy face paints to sculpt features and create fangs. You'll apply highlights, contour, dramatic winged eyeliner, and blood drips for a chillingly realistic undead look.
Directions
- Using a sponge, dab a very thin coat of white Snazaroo paint onto the high points of your face—forehead, nose, chin, tops of cheekbones, and jaw—to bring those areas forward.
- Apply a slightly thicker layer of white to the arch of your brow so it really pops.
- Switch to a contour color like lilac, grey, or very pale brown, and paint it around the areas you want to recede.
- Add contour color to your eyelids and wing it outward for an eyeshadow effect, also running a bit under and along the sides of your nose.
- With black face paint, draw a fairly thick winged eyeliner on your top lid.
- Start shaping your eyebrows where your natural ones begin, then raise the arch as you go higher for a more dramatic look.
- On the outer corners of your lower lip, paint two curved triangles to represent fangs, then fill in your entire lips with black face paint.
- To make the fangs stand out, go back and fill the middle section of your lips with white face paint.
- Take a burgundy color and run a small amount under your eye, then smudge it with your finger.
- Add blood drips starting from the edges of your mouth and trailing down toward your chin.
- Finish by flicking the brush to create blood spatters across your face.
