These candy corn jello cups are a fun Halloween treat. They feature layers of lemon and orange jello with a creamy white topping made from sour cream and gelatin. After assembling each layer and letting them set in the fridge, you can finish with whipped cream and sprinkles.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix the lemon (yellow) jello with 1 cup of boiling water, stir until fully dissolved, then add 1/2 cup of cold water.
  2. Evenly pour this yellow mixture into six 6-ounce glasses.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator until the yellow layer is completely firm, then prepare the orange jello.
  4. Combine the orange jello with 1 cup of boiling water, stir until dissolved, then add 1/2 cup of cold water.
  5. Once the orange jello has cooled to room temperature, carefully spoon it over the set yellow layer in each glass, then return to the fridge to firm up.
  6. For the white cream layer, bring 1 cup of milk to a boil, then stir in 1/2 cup of sugar until it dissolves, and remove from heat.
  7. Dissolve 1 package of Knox gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water, then add this to the milk mixture.
  8. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 8 oz of sour cream, then beat with a mixer until smooth.
  9. When the white mixture is at room temperature and the orange layer is fully set, pour it on top of the cups and refrigerate again until set.
  10. Once completely firm, garnish with whipped cream and sprinkles if you like.
