Ingredients
Directions
- Heat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix with a spoon or hand mixer until well blended.
- Add the flour, black cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and optional espresso powder to the wet mixture. Stir or beat until a thick dough forms.
- Using a 1.5-tablespoon scoop, place dough balls on two large baking sheets.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, until cookies are set and golden underneath. Let them cool completely.
- Once cooled, melt the mini marshmallows. In the microwave, heat in 15-second bursts, stirring each time, until completely melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
- Let the melted marshmallow cool slightly until safe to handle. Grease your hands with nonstick spray, butter, or coconut oil. Pinch off small pieces of marshmallow, stretch into strands, and drape them over each cookie to mimic cobwebs. Sprinkle black sprinkles on top.
- Serve and enjoy.
