You'll need
Directions
- Begin by planning Halloween decorations from crepe paper. For a candy bowl elf, use a round piñata as the base, covering it with rolled and folded crepe paper.
- Create decorative ribbons by creatively cutting rolls of crepe paper. Also craft festooned doilies and attach them with double-sided tape to form a table skirt that highlights the candy bowl elf.
- Fold black crepe paper into a sophisticated, funeral-style bow to display on the mantlepiece.
- Attach crepe paper swags to two long lattice strips using tape. Secure these strips to the ceiling with sticky-back Velcro squares so they hang above the party table.
- For gravestone chair covers, cut a roll of gray crepe paper to fit the back of each chair, staple the sides closed, and use a wide-mouth magic marker to write epitaphs like on tombstones.
- Make a witch's hat centerpiece by taping shredded crepe paper to the interior of a store-bought black witch hat.
- Lay rolls of orange crepe paper over a black tablecloth, crossing them to form a crisscross table runner.
