These decorated pumpkin cookies use a vibrant orange icing made from tulip red, egg yolk yellow, and warm brown. The step-by-step process involves outlining and flooding sections for dimension, then adding a green stem and vines with 20-second icing.

Ingredients

Pumpkin orange piping and flood icing {I mixed tulip red, egg yolk yellow, and a touch of warm brown}
Green piping and 20-second icing

Directions

Start by outlining your pumpkin with orange icing, dividing it into three segments as shown. My cutter naturally suggested three sections, but feel free to adjust based on your own.
Flood every other section with the orange icing. To give the pumpkin a 3D effect, pause for a few minutes before moving to the adjacent segment.
Use green 20-second icing to pipe a stem at the top of the pumpkin.
Complete the design by adding a few vines and leaves with the same green icing.
