Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at thecountrychiccottage.net.
This project turns long, skinny candies into cute witch legs using a Cricut, card stock, and glue dots. Cut a witch dress and shoes, attach the candy, then add the feet for a fun Halloween treat.
You'll need
Directions
- Use your Cricut machine to cut the witch dress and shoes from green and black card stock. After uploading the design file, add the text using the Breezy font and attach it to the dress shape. Insert a fine-tip black pen into the proper slot so the Cricut writes the words and then cuts the pieces in a single operation. Once you have all pieces ready, gather your glue dots.
- For each treat, you use four glue dots. Place two dots on one end of the candy and press that end onto the dress. Then add two more dots about half an inch further along the candy to keep it stable, and attach that section to the dress as well.
- To put on the shoes, start by using two glue dots to stick the candy package ends in place.
- Then apply two more glue dots on top of those to attach the witch feet (shoes).
