These Halloween Candy Cookie Bars are a fun and festive treat made with chopped Hershey's candies mixed into a buttery cookie dough. Press the dough into a pan, top with extra candy, and bake until golden. They come together quickly and stay fresh for days, perfect for parties or a spooky snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Set your oven to 350°F. Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with grease, then line it with parchment paper, leaving extra hanging over the two long sides. Grease and flour the parchment as well, then set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir in both the dark brown and white sugars, mixing until combined. Set this mixture aside.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until a thick, glossy dough forms. Fold in 1 cup of the chopped Halloween candy. Using your fingers, press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining chopped candy on top.
  4. Bake for 27–30 minutes, until the bars are golden brown and cooked through. Let them cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
