These Halloween Candy Cookie Dough Bites are a fun, safe-to-eat treat made by heat-treating the flour to kill bacteria. Simply mix butter, sugars, milk, vanilla, flour, salt, chocolate chips, and Halloween candy, then roll into balls and chill. They're perfect for parties or snacking and can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.

- Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to eliminate bacteria. Allow it to cool completely.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the cooled flour and salt, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips and Halloween candy.
- Roll the dough into small balls and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
