- Set your oven to 350°F to preheat.
- Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat the butter and sugar together for about 2 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy. Remember to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix until everything is well combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined. The dough will be sticky.
- Pour the orange and black sprinkles into a shallow bowl. Take portions of dough and roll them in the sprinkles until fully coated, then shape into balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Since the cookies spread during baking, place only about 8 cookies per sheet to allow room.
- Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, then let them cool completely on the pan. Store in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days.
