Layered chocolate pudding, fluffy whipped topping, and crushed Oreo 'dirt' come together in individual cups. Top with gummy worms and candy eyeballs for a fun Halloween dessert that kids and adults will love. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for the best texture.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together 2 boxes (7.8 oz total) of instant chocolate pudding mix and 4 cups of milk. Use an electric mixer on low speed, then increase to medium, beating for about 2-3 minutes until thick and fully combined.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of thawed Cool Whip with 1 cup of the prepared chocolate pudding from step 1. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate the pudding and whipped topping mixture while you make the "dirt."
  4. Place 15 Oreo cookies (with cream) in a food processor and pulse until you get fine crumbs. If you don't have a food processor, seal them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  5. Set up your assembly area. Take the pudding mixture out of the fridge. Arrange plastic cups nearby. You can work on all cups at once or one by one.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of Oreo crumbs into the bottom of each cup as the first layer.
  7. Spoon 1/2 cup of chocolate pudding over the crumbs. Gently tap the cup on the counter to level the pudding.
  8. Sprinkle another 1 tablespoon of Oreo dirt over the pudding layer.
  9. Add a heaping 1/4 cup of the whipped topping mixture on top of the dirt. Tap the cup to level the layer.
  10. Finish with a final 1 tablespoon of Oreo crumbs. Garnish with gummy worms, candy eyeballs, chocolate pumpkins, or other Halloween candies. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
