Facts from the original

  • Four separate houses are shown in the movie: the Myers house, Laurie's house, Annie's babysitting house, and Laurie's babysitting house.
  • The Myers' house and Laurie's house are in South Pasadena, California.
  • The two babysitting houses are in Hollywood, across the street from each other.
  • The two neighborhoods are 15 miles apart but passed for the same town.
  • Much of the action took place in the Doyle residence at 1530 N. Orange Grove Avenue, east side, between Sunset Blvd and Selma Ave.
  • Annie was murdered at the Wallace residence, 1537 N. Orange Grove Avenue, west side.
  • The Myers' house was originally at 707 Meredian Avenue and is now at 1000 Mission Street, next to the railroad tracks.
  • The Myers' house was moved across the street and now serves as the Alegria Chiropractic Center.
