About this

A kid-friendly, inexpensive Halloween Ghost Party with a basic all-white theme. Includes ideas for treats, decorations, and games.

Decoration ideas

  • Wedding Bell Garland: Make garland from white wedding bells turned into ghosts by adding googly eyes.
  • Styrofoam Cone Ghosts: Add vinyl stickers for faces to styrofoam cones. Place on top of candle holders for height.
  • Ghost Topiaries: Use clay pots, skewers, foam balls, shower poofs, and googly eyes. Paint pots and skewers white. Place foam balls in pots, stick skewer in center, attach poof with hot glue, add eyes.

Food & drink

  • Marshmallow Suckers: Dip marshmallows in white chocolate melts, twirl to remove excess, dip top in shredded coconut or white sprinkles. Use black gel frosting for eyes and mouth. Place in ghost cups.
  • Pudding Cup Ghosts: Use a pudding cup and ghost marshmallow peeps. Add crushed chocolate cookie to the top and gummy worms in the pudding.
  • Lollipop Ghosts: Cover lollipops with a coffee filter and tie with floss around the bottom. Add little black eyes.
  • Ghost Donuts: Put eyes on donuts to make ghost faces.
  • Popcorn: Add googly eyes to clear or white cups to use as cute ghost containers for popcorn.

Activities

  • Ghost Bowling: Combination of bowling and carnival milk bottle toss. Use toilet paper rolls with googly eyes as pins. Use a light weight ball that is easy for kids to knock over.
  • Ping Pong Toss: Use wide mouth jars, ping pong balls, and a sharpie to draw faces on the jars.
  • Cup Stacking: Draw ghost faces on upside down cups. Kids can stack the ghost cups and toss balls to knock them down.
