Set two years after the 2007 remake, this sequel follows a traumatized Laurie Strode as she tries to move on from the events of the first film. Meanwhile, Michael Myers has been dormant but awakens, driven by visions of his mother, and returns to Haddonfield on Halloween to resume his killing spree. Laurie must confront her brother one more time as the nightmare continues.
