Ingredients
Directions
- If you've got a brand new brain mold, give it a good wash with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry it completely.
- Get your water boiling on the stove.
- Lightly coat the inside of the brain mold with cooking spray. Set the mold in a bowl to keep it steady and prevent tipping. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the Jell-O packets with the boiling water. Whisk until the powder is fully dissolved.
- Add the cold water and give it a stir.
- Pour in the evaporated milk and mix well.
- If you're using food coloring, add it now and whisk thoroughly.
- Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared brain mold.
- Place the mold in the refrigerator and chill until firm, at least 2 hours.
- To remove the Jello brain, gently jiggle the mold to loosen it, then turn it upside down onto a plate. It should drop out. If not, jiggle again and flip once more.
