Create a hauntingly realistic broken doll look with this detailed makeup tutorial. Start by applying foundation, setting it, and then drawing exaggerated features such as a high pleat, dark eye shadow, and realistic wrinkles. Finish with dramatic false lashes and bold makeup to complete the eerie effect.
Directions
- Apply a layer of foundation using the stick, just like you would on paper
- Set it with powder to fix it in place
- Apply a layer of full coverage foundation to even out the color
- Wait until the foundation is completely dry
- Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 until you achieve a more natural look
- Now, it's all about drawing. I redrew the pleat much higher than its natural position, redrew the 'white of the eye', and started coloring. The new upper eyelid was filled with violet, followed by drawing my new eyebrows (they're really great :)) )
- Then, I drew a black 'shadow' to make the eye look more realistic, attached a set of false lashes to the bottom edge of the newly created lower eyelid, and a longer and fuller set of false lashes to the upper eyelid.
- Applied violet blush to the cheeks, black lipstick for a more sinister look, and carefully drew wrinkles with a very sharp dermatograph. That's basically it; it took some time, but it looks great in reality :D
