These Halloween monster cookies start with a devil's food cake mix base enriched with black cocoa powder. After baking, each cookie gets a Reese's Franken Cup pressed into the center and googley eyes for a fun, creepy look. They're perfect for parties and bake sales.

- Set your oven to 350°F to preheat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the cake mix and black cocoa powder, then stir until fully combined.
- Use a 1/4 cup measure to scoop out portions of dough.
- Place 6 dough balls evenly spaced on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the centers are just set and cooked through.
- Take the cookies out of the oven and immediately press a peanut butter cup (green side up) into the center of each.
- Gently press googley eyes into the cookie and the peanut butter cup.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving.
