These Halloween Peeps Houses are a fun and easy edible craft. Using chocolate wafer cookies, melted candy melts, and festive decorations, you can assemble a tiny house and top it with a ghost Peep. Perfect for a Halloween party or a creative family activity.
You'll need
Directions
- Separate the chocolate wafer cookies. For the house shown, 20 wafers were used: 4 per side, 4 for the back, and 8 for the roof.
- Melt the CandiQuick or candy melts following package directions (typically microwave in 30-second bursts). CandiQuick is found in the baking aisle, but any candy melts work.
- Spoon the melted candy into the corner of a sandwich bag to create a makeshift piping bag.
- Snip a tiny piece off the corner of the bag.
- Pipe a small amount of melted chocolate along the edges of the wafers to construct the sides and back of the house.
- Build the roof by piping melted candy on top of the house, leaning wafers together, then adding more melted candy on top.
- Attach edible Halloween decorations to the roof of the house.
- Adorn the front of the house with sprinkles and additional decorations.
- Place a ghost Peep inside the house.
