This Halloween scavenger hunt uses printable riddle cards to create a sequential treasure trail. Participants follow each clue to a new location, with every answer revealing the hiding spot for the next card. The game concludes with a final reward, making it a fun and engaging way to celebrate the holiday.
Directions
- Print the riddle cards on standard paper or sturdy cardstock, then carefully trim around the edges to separate them.
- Select the number of clues you wish to include in your game. Every riddle is designed to point toward a specific spot inside your house or outside in your yard, such as a kitchen counter, a coat rack, or a garden gnome.
- Start the trail by leaving the initial card in a visible area, perhaps on the coffee table or directly in a player's hands. For each subsequent card, hide it at the exact spot revealed by the previous riddle, creating a continuous chain of clues.
- Position the final card at the destination of your choice. This last stop should guide participants to a hidden stash containing rewards like chocolate bars, alternative snacks, or store gift cards.
- Hand over the starting card and let the participants follow the puzzle trail from one hiding place to the next until they uncover the ultimate reward.
