Ingredients
Directions
- Prepare your cookies according to your recipe or package instructions. Right after removing them from the oven, use a teaspoon measuring spoon to press a shallow indentation in the center of each cookie. Let the cookies cool completely.
- While the cookies are cooling, place a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 12-second bursts, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Set an unwrapped mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cup into the divot on each cooled cookie.
- Apply a small dab of the melted chocolate to the back of each candy eye, then press them onto the peanut butter cups to form the spider's eyes.
- Transfer the remaining melted chocolate to a piping bag fitted with the smallest tip (or use a small zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped). Pipe eight legs onto each cookie, starting from the peanut butter cup. Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
