Create whimsical ghost sugar cookies using a simple sugar cookie mix. After baking, decorate with royal icing and use a black food marker to add cute expressions. Let the icing dry fully before drawing faces, then store in an airtight container.

- Mix up the sugar cookie dough following the instructions on the Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix package or using your own preferred recipe.
- Roll the dough flat to a thickness of about ¼ inch.
- Press out ghost shapes with a mini tulip cookie cutter.
- Bake the cookies according to the time and temperature specified by your dough recipe.
- Whip up a batch of royal icing and adjust it to an 8-second consistency.
- Fit a disposable pastry bag with a PME #2 decorating tip, then outline and flood each cooled cookie with the royal icing.
- Let the royal icing set completely, which takes about 24 hours.
- Use a black edible food marker to draw cheerful little faces onto the dried icing.
- Wait another hour for the marker ink to dry, then store the cookies in an airtight container.
