Hocus Pocus Dinner and A Movie

Directions

1. Set the scene: Collect Halloween items (witches, pumpkins, bats, spiderwebs, skulls, candles, oranges, and blacks) and place them on the dinner table. Set out candles in the TV room and light them. Dim the lights. Set out fluffy pillows and fuzzy blankets.
2. Prepare the dinner menu: Make the Bubbling Caldron, Ghastly Chili, Oven Roasted Ribs with Blood Sauce, Crunchy Green Bean Salad, Decomposed Salad, Shriveled Potatoes, Shrunken Pears, and Poison Apples. Most items can be prepared a day or two ahead.
3. Create the Witches Brew: Combine Witch Hair (licorice), Wolves Nails (candy corn), Rat Droppings (black jelly beans), Frog Tongue (peach rings), Creepy Crawlers (gummy worms), Bone Chunks (kettle corn), Wizard Guts (black rope licorice), Poison (skittles), Goblin Eyes (whoppers), and Vampire Bites (hot tomales). Tape or glue the 'Witches Brew' label to a paper lunch sack or bowl.
4. Use the printables: Print the invite and treat labels on card stock. Add the date, time, and address to the invite. Attach the invite to favorite Halloween candy.
5. Set up the after party: Print the love spell book pages, cut them out, place the cover on top, roll them up like scrolls, and tie with a ribbon or string. Pick a spell to end the evening (e.g., Fountain of Youth, Kissing Spell, Flame in the Heart, Attraction Charm, Fireside Lust, or Passionate Evening Spell).
6. Enjoy the date: Watch Hocus Pocus, enjoy the dinner and Witches Brew, and end the night with the chosen spell from the love spell book.
